Jeanne is a sewing pattern to make a two-piece pajama set using a knit fabric. It includes a long-sleeve, round-neck top with ribbed neckband and cuffs. The pajama bottoms are slim-fit, the waist elastic hits at the belly button, and the cuffs are finished with ribbed ankle cuffs.

An easy-to-wear pajama set that is also very easy to make. It is a wonderful pattern for beginners or a first sewing project for knits. You can practice on a smaller size before making your own since the pattern bundles kids, teens and adult sizes (just like all Jalie patterns).

For the francophiles: Jeanne is pronounced "Jhahn" (but Jeanne doesn't mind being called Jane or Jean when meeting English-speaking Jalie fans in event)

Nice range of sizes

My 12 yr old daughter loves this style of pajamas, but is between children's and women's sizes. The range of sizes in this pattern made finding the perfect size for her easy without having to make pattern adjustments.

I would have given the pattern a 5 star rating if the pants were made with one pattern piece instead of two so that the additional seam down the outside of the leg could be avoided. I have other patterns for this style of pajamas that use one pattern piece and my daughter prefers that style.

Great Beginner Knit Pattern

this is the pattern i recommend to non-sewing friends who want to start with some basic knit / stretch garment. great basic style, covers the key elements of tops and bottoms, so good way to learn basic skills, get a wearable garment then launch into more technical pieces.

Nice!

I made the Jeanne pjs for my daughter. Very quick and easy pattern. She doesn’t like cuffs, so I made the legs and arms longer to accommodate no cuffs. Also used lingerie lace around the neckline instead of crew band. I love that I get a layered pattern, so I can mash sizes (I have tall ones in my family). She loved them. I’ll be making more of these. Nice pattern! Thanks Jalie!
